Broughton Primary After School Club

Farmhouse Nursery runs the Broughton After School Club.
The BASC offers after school care for up to 16 P1-P7 pupils who attend Broughton Primary School.

The club is based from the ‘Out of School Care’ Room within Broughton Primary School. We also have access to the Computer Room, Gym Hall and Sensory Room for additional activities.

There is a wonderful outdoor space within the school grounds, including climbing frames, vegetable patch, mud kitchen and wild garden.

Adjacent to the school, there is a large enclosed play park and playing fields. There is also some lovely walks and woodland right on our doorstep.

Our physical address is:

Activities & Timetable

The club offers a wide range of activities both on and off site. Following consultation with the children, our team of staff will meet to plan and finalise a programme of activities.

The programme takes into account the time of year, incorporating special occasions and multi cultural celebrations. The club will also hold theme weeks. The activities offered always include arts and crafts, physical activities and imaginative play.

Resources such as sports equipment, arts and crafts materials, board games, books, dressing up clothes and pretend play equipment are readily available.

The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment, children are encouraged to join in activities and learn new skills – whilst making friends.

Children attending the club receive a daily snack. The snack menu will be displayed at the club.

Occasionally, the children will enjoy an offsite activity, such as trips to a local park.
